The ACP Advances Quality Improvement (QI) healthcare curriculum offers a practical, step-wise approach that guides you through each stage of the QI journey from establishing the 鈥渨hat鈥 and 鈥渨hy鈥 for change to implementing and sustaining change. This online curriculum, developed by physicians for physicians and their teams, is offered as a series of four modules.
Physicians who complete this curriculum are eligible for up to 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and ABIM MOC points. Physicians are also eligible to earn patient safety credit.
The ACP Advance curriculum is designed to help clinicians engage and empower clinicians in quality improvement projects that are meaningful and put the clinician in the driver鈥檚 seat. The curriculum focuses on simple, core concepts that can be applied to help achieve meaningful quality goals in a practical manner.
The ACP QI healthcare curriculum is offered as a series of four modules:

Step 1: Establish the What and Why for Change
Establishing the focus of your change or improvement project (the what) and the reason for why you are making a change (the why). -
Step 2: Identify How to Measure Change
Identifying the ways in which you will measure how change happens in your practice. -
Step 3: Plan for Change and Identify Solutions
Planning with purpose to make those changes while identifying solutions. -
Step 4: Implement and Sustain Change
Implementing and sustaining changes made in your practice.

Successful completion of these CME activities, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn practice assessment MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine鈥檚 (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the provider鈥檚 responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
