ACP's Global Physician Scholar Program (GPS) provides opportunities for early and mid-career internal medicine physicians from outside the United States and Canada to participate in a four-week observership to enhance expertise in prevention, diagnosis, and/or management of clinical issues in Internal Medicine and the subspecialties.
Program highlights include:
- Participating in a one-month observership at an academic medical institution in the United States or Canada, preferably in March/April 2024.
- Engaging in individual and group clinical and educational experiences.
- Implementing an independent project in your home country post observership.
- Receiving funding to attend ACP's Internal Medicine Meeting 2024 in Boston, Massachusetts following the observership period. At this premier scientific meeting in internal medicine, recipients will benefit from the educational courses, share experiences with colleagues, and be recognized for their award.
