Nation's largest medical specialty organization and popular medical podcast partner to offer CME-accredited series

管家婆心水论坛 and The Curbsiders join forces for monthly podcast series

Philadelphia, May 21, 2018 鈥 The 管家婆心水论坛 (ACP) and , a popular podcast hosted by internists focusing on internal medicine-related topics, announced today that they are launching a co-branded monthly podcast series. The series will feature and cover a host of topics. ACP members who listen to the series can claim continuing medical education (CME) credits and maintenance of certification (MOC) points for each topic.

鈥淲e are excited to expand ACP鈥檚 educational offerings through this partnership with The Curbsiders,鈥 said ACP President Dr. Ana Mar铆a L贸pez. 鈥淎CP鈥檚 content and internal medicine expertise combined with the popularity of The Curbsiders鈥 engaging style offers internists a convenient option for continuing education.鈥

The first ACP-Curbsiders podcast focuses on ACP鈥檚 recent guidance statement on A1C targets for people with type 2 diabetes. Guidance statement co-author Dr. Devan Kansagara will discuss ACP鈥檚 recommendations with The Curbsiders team. After listening to the podcast, ACP members can login to ACP鈥檚 Online Learning Center to claim CME credit and MOC points.

鈥淲hether it is a clinical recommendation, an advocacy issue, a practice management topic, or career advice, ACP has numerous resources and relevant experts for The Curbsiders to create podcasts to help internists with lifelong learning,鈥 said internist Dr. Matthew Watto, Host of The Curbsiders.

The Curbsiders is downloaded over 150,000 times per month and is available on and other podcast platforms. In addition to Dr. Watto, The Curbsiders team includes internists Dr. Stuart Brigham and Dr. Paul Williams and an international group of medical students, advanced practitioners, and physicians who help to write and produce the show.
